How to Become #1 on Google...

How to Become #1 on Google...

I love this subject as if you ask 10 different people you are sure to get 10 completely different answers! You will here everything from keyword stuffing to using words like "sex" or "Viagra" to adding a secret page filled with links to other sites or several other white hat or black hat techniques. The truth is there is no magic wand to instantly become #1 on Google!

Google has spent billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of man hours to make it harder and harder to rank above your competitors. So why would they do this you may ask yourself? Well its so the people who spend the time and effort to do the real work like blogging, posting on social networks, link building, keeping their website up to date and relevant and not to mention get targeted real traffic to your website to obtain real true leads that will convert are the one's that will receive the benefits of ranking highly on Google.

It also really depends on how you market your website, as well as how your clients are searching for you. If you are focusing on lets say handyman service and your clients are searching for a painter you are not likely to be the company they find. You really need to think like your clients and not like a business and market to a vast market verses a narrow market this way you will be placing yourself in front of multiple people giving yourself a better chance for someone to contact you so you can better build your client list.

You are also going to want to stay consistent with your methods and know that it takes time and effort to build your web surrounding your web page and padding it equally so you are easy to find and know that if you give up or slow down you will have to work 10 times harder just to get back to where you were to begin with.

These methods are not only used on the net either, remember people were networking and marketing before there was the wonderful world wide web! The same old methods apply online and in person. The trickster will get caught and the "Last Man Standing" will be the one who provided the best service or product at the best price and really cared and took pride in what they do while treating there clients with the highest level of respect. I would like to here your ideas and questions on this subject so let me know and I will be sure to respond to you.
